The sailing adventures of a land loving family of four who first stood together upon a sailboat at the Toronto Boat show in 2006 and since then have earned the right to be called "Salty"!
Julie the pictures look great, but putting the same slide show in twice doesn't count as lots of pictures. We know you probably won't read this for a day or two depending on internet access, but all the best on your first overnight sail. Doing that will bring you here that much sooner. Love to all Grampa Griff and Nana Cheryl
Glad to see you are having a good time and learning lots. I am putting together an application for you guys and Dad and Sheryl. I am calling it GeoBlog. I put together a small proof of concept which can be found at http://www.gobiggygo.com/map.html.
The idea is to incorprate you blogs with google maps to create a record of where you have been and to tie your blogs to a geographical location. It will also create an animation of your journey and calculate the miles you have travelled. I will show you how to use it when you are back!
